# Windows - Path too long warning The main Art Conductor archive contains a couple of thousand files. A few archive utilities do not play well with this amount of content. We recommend using Windows and macOS onboard tools instead of a third-party solution. We also recommend that you extract the archive on the desktop. Due to the number of nested folders inside the archive, Windows users can face issues when the file path gets too long. As it turns out, this is a Windows limitation we cannot overcome.
