# Logic shows only a few articulations

Smart Controls > Key Switches shows only a fraction of the available key switches depending on the instrument.

To access every possible articulation, open the plug-in window and select from the articulation dropdown menu. The articulation you choose here is the one you will record the next take with.

Or assign articulations in the piano roll/score editor/event editor to individual notes.
