# Installation

Make sure you have downloaded all three parts:

* The Art Conductor archive
* The Snapshot archive
* The Presets archive

Before you can install the software, you’ll need to unzip it. Please use the onboard tools of macOS. This is important to note, as the sheer number of files in this archive can result in errors depending on your choice of unzipper app.

Unzipping the Art Conductor archive creates a new “Art Conductor Logic” folder containing all the content. Take this folder and copy it to the following location on your Mac:

<mark style="color:orange;">**/Users/account name/Music/Audio Music Apps/Articulation Settings**</mark>

{% hint style="info" %}
If an “Articulation Settings” folder doesn't exist in your “Audio Music Apps” folder, you can make one of your own by creating a blank/new Articulation Set in Logic and saving it. “account name” represents your user name. To load a set, click “Articulations…” in the Logic track parameters. But I’m sure you know this already.
{% endhint %}

#### Snapshots and Preset Files

The **Snapshot** and **Preset** archives can be stored anywhere you like. You only need those files when working with a few libraries that require special configurations.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.babylonwaves.com/set-up-your-daw/how-to-set-up-in-logic/installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
